STUDENT OF THE MONTH

 

Each month we will choose a new student of the month during the school year and during the summer program their will be a student of the week. You will be able to see all previous students that have been highlighted below. 

 

 

 

We wish to highlight the Class of 2014 and some of their accomplishments. We are very proud that all of our seniors walked across the field on June 7, 2014. They will all be moving on to higher education next year.

 

Randel Augustin- Randel has been a part of the Upward Bound program since he was a rising freshman in high school. Over the five years Randel has participated in every summer program and has been an active participant in the after school program. Following the completion of the summer program this year he will be attending Massasoit Community College to pursue a degree in higher education.

 

Asiah Brooks- Asiah has been a part of the Upward Bound program since she was a rising freshman in high school. Over the five  years Asiah has participated in every summer program and has been an active participant in the after school program. Following the completion of the summer program this year she will be attending Massasoit Community College to pursue a degree in higher education.

 

 

Kemani Jackson-Cutts- Kemani has been an active participant in the Upward Bound program throughout his four years at Brockton High School. Following the completion of the summer program he will attend Basic Training for the US Military. When he returns he will attend a bridge program at Fitchburg State University to pursue a degree in higher education.

 

John Fontes- John has been an active participant in Upward Bound over the last few years. He has been one of the most active seniors this past year. He attended over 100% of required after school sessions.  Follwoing the completion of the summer program this year John will be attending Framingham State University in the fall to pursue a degree in higher education. 

 

Denicia Gomes- Denicia has been a part of the Upward Bound program since she was a rising freshman in high school. Over the five years Denicia has been a very active participant. This summer Denicia will begin her pursuit of higher education at Eastern Nazarene College. 

 

Sarah Henry- Sarah has been an active participant in the Upward bound program for the last several years. Sarah has always managed to juggle her other activities and keep Upward Bound a priority. Following her completion of the Summer Program Sarah will attend the University of Massachusetts at Amherst to pursue a degree in higher education. 

 

Lillian Hutton- Lillian has been a regular participant in the Upward Bound program for several years. This fall Lillian will head to Mount Ida College to pursue a degree in higher education. 

 

Kayla Lambright- Kayla has been an active participant in Upward Bound since her freshman year of high school. Kayla was often found in Ms. Karner's office during her study periods, and interacts with Upward Bound peers often. Following the completion of the summer program Kayla will be heading to the University of Massachusetts at Amherst to pursue a degree in higher education.

 

Jessie Laurore- Jessie has been a participant in Upward Bound since her sophomore year. This fall Jessie will head to Harvard University to pursue a degree in higher education. 

 

Grace MaKonnen- Grace has been an active participant in the Upward Bound program since her freshman year. Following the completion of the summer program Grace will pursue a degree in higher education at Temple University.

 

Keisha Pierre- Keisha has been an active participant in the Upward Bound program for her entire high school career. Following the completion of the Summer Program Keisha will pursue a degree in higher education at Pace University. 

 

Yuniquie Robinson- Yuniquie has been an active participant in the Upward Bound program through her high school career. Following the completion of the Summer Program Yuniquie will puruse a degree in higher education at Salem State University. 

 

Jahaira Semedo- Jahaira has been a part of the Upward Bound program since she was a rising freshman in high school. Over the five years Jahaira has been a very active participant in the program. Following the completion of the summer program Jahaira will head to Penn State to pursue a degree in higher education.

 

Gyannah Williams- Gyannah joined the program in her junior year of high school and has been an incredibly active participant since joining. Following the completion of the summer program Gyannah will pursue a degree in higher education at Bridgewater State University. 

 

Muibat Yussuff- Muibat joined the program as a sophomore and has been an active participant since joining. This fall Muibat will pursue a degree in higher educaiton at Brandeis University.
